Stalker's Blade - Magus on Tryndamere sounds awful

I'm gonna go try it out

edit: sucked

I'm too used to S3 jungle, a time when how fast your champion could clear the jungle and how well they could sustain it mattered. Neither of those qualities benefit junglers anymore, at least nearly as much as it did back then.

Tryndamere can clear really well and sustain indefinitely but these things don't matter anymore. You actually want to recall often because there's just not enough to do. The chicken creeps are suicide, the respawn timers are ridiculous and most of the damage done to jungle creeps anyway is with smite which has a big cooldown* but hey it can stack now* /sarcasm. With sustain you might get some gold killing jungle creeps over and over but you're constantly too underleveled to gank without serious risk of falling behind unless they are giving it to you for free, and even then it's hardly worth leaving your jungle because you still fall behind so easily.

His jungle clear by itself right now offers nothing but the ability to wait for you and your laners to be killed. If all you want to do is clear then you're constantly behind. That's the biggest problem with jungle tryndamere right now: creeps don't offer as much experience anymore. Without levels he can't gank, clear the jungle or turret dive like he used to.

Maybe something else works, and if so I really want to find out what it is, but free damage (devourer) and sustain and utility (magus) do not.

Sustain Tryndamere is honestly kinda fun. I like building Triforce on him.

BTW Here's the game plan:

typical runes/masteries, except including +24 AP masteries max Q first, max E second, leave only 1 point in R Build: Stalker's Blade + Boots + Amplifying Tome Enchant - Magus Brutalizer (30% CDR) Mercury Treads 2 finished tank items PD/SS/Youmoo's PD/SS/BC
