Mobile League Of Legends. There's a video of it doing the rounds if you Google it.

Nobody plays mobile games for 50 mins but they will gladly play for 20/25.

There's your reason for the last 2/3 seasons of damage creep.

Haha what? I'm as disappointed with Mobile League as you are, but there are a few points:

  • You shouldn't use "There are videos floating around" as proof that it's going to happen. Just a few hours ago I read some leaks on Reddit which were immediately proven false (Championship Kai'sa lol). A better argument (that made me accept the dark reality of LoL Mobile) is the Video posted by Riot Games Careers where an intern said she was working on League Mobile. The video was subsequently deleted.
  • It's not connected to the base game in any way. It's going to run on seperaten infrastructure, with a new client. There is no reason to damage-creep classic league when you can just pace the mobile version differently.
  • Finally, the true reason for their (short-term) patching strategy is World$ once again. Lee Sin getting buffed? Check. Flashy plays? Of course.
  • The long-term strategy is indeed the eastern market. Blaustoise shared some interesting data that China and Korea don't think new champions are overloaded because they know nothing else. They were introduced to a fast-paced game from the very beginning, so they want more of that.

Videos of actual gameplay from league mobile isn't proof that it's in the works, and is comparable to a notepad leak on reddit?

Yes. I have never seen any connection to Riot. You can fake Gameplay, it could be a fan-made game etc.

If you actually watched any of the videos on the mobile league game, it's completely different from league. Even something as basic as the level you get your ult is different. that has literally nothing to do with current league.

it's funny cause none of the "dmg creep" champions are in the game.
