No Offense to the Kayle mains, but isn't her kit rather silly?

Every time I see Kayle, she's literally all about building AS and just AA'ing the entire time. Cuz that's literally her kit and what she does.

There's nothing special or unique about her. She's practically a AP version of an ADC except, ADC's have some flashy skills and style while Kayle is just there AA'ing, kiting, and using her ult on herself or allies.

I was watching a stream the other day where a kayle built and it just looked so silly how she's just there AA'ing away. That's it. Wasn't it confirmed that Riot also planned to rework her along with Nocturne?

Kayle's getting a double rework, which means she'll be updated (a full VGU, I believe) along with her Morgana sister, who will also be updated (I read Morg's getting a regular VU along with some gameplay changes, but I think she could use a full VGU...especially on her Q's hitbox x3).

I am too! I hope it makes her more fun to play as and to fight. I don't play her a lot (lv. 5, about 23.2k points) but I think she could use a VGU. More lore too pls, RITO :P

Ranged Tryndamere with AOE mixed damage autos that shred resistances. She needed to be reworked a long time ago.

Kayle used to have a lot more variance to her build paths until riot absolutely gutted everything she could do until she became an auto attack bot.

My point is, she has no theme or anything unique. She's just a champion who sits there spamming her AA as if shes chopping wood. She kinda also reminds me of Tryndamere where there's only one build path.

Tryn is AS/Crit Kayle is AS/AP

Now that I think about it, they are pretty damn similar.

Still no real point. Her design is to auto people while kiting around with her heal and slow, and she has her ultimate which is a pretty unique thing to bring to the table.

She also has several more builds than you seem to think. She can be built like an adc with ad and crit just fine and has been for years, there are also high ap and lichbane builds and builds that rush ryleis.

She is one of the only champions in the game capable of being played in every single lane.

With her ult, she's able to completely turn around a fight by ulting either herself or another carry. Another thing that's unique, her lategame is insanely strong. Fighting her lategame is like trying to 1v1 a fed trynd or yi. All champions can be considered dull, burst champions are all about hitting that one skillshot and then QWER. ADCs just right click to kill stuff. Some people may enjoy that type of playstyle. With Kayle, it isn't just about autoattacking, positioning and being aware of who should be ulted and who needs peel with your Q and W are involved. Stuff like that.

I'm assuming that these reworks will take place late of next year then :P cuz Urgot, Eve, Mordekaiser, Nunu, and Tryn are aligned, I presume.

She is classed as a marksman now, also remember she is an old champ. I get what you mean about her kit and riot do plan on reworking her. I really like playing kayle though, she helped me learn to kite and I've recommended her to a couple of friends when they were learning the game as i think she is a great champ for beginner players. She has everything a new player needs, a simple kit to dive straight into the game and great late game scaling encase things don't work out well for them during the laning phase.
