Do we really need to wait twenty minutes to forfeit this kind of game?

Garen is first blood at lv2 and DC's immediately after. I don't want to get a "remake" and have the game not count, a loss is fine. Just the option to surrender and save everyone some time if they don't want to try the 4v5 (especially in norms). Even though the kills are kind of even in the photo, we were losing horribly shortly after and surrendered at 20 min.

Make it so you can vote to forfeit 5 minutes after someone DC's. This gives them some time to come back if they didn't leave on purpose, but still save 10-15 minutes for any team which wants to leave as soon as it's a 4v5

But.....that's what a remake is for...

...you're saying you don't want a remake but you want a remake?

...or do you just want that quick IP? That's so easily abusable and borderline promotes early surrenders just for some quick IP...

You don't get any IP on a remade game you twat.

Thus you want an 'early' surrender? For the IP? Cuz OP says he doesn't like remakes but want an early surrender. So he wants the game to count even if it's short Like he says a loss is fine.

remake wouldn't happen here because he was connected initially.

The OP just wants a way out of the game.

In that case realistically Riot's probably just going to include that within the remake requirements rather than implementing a super early surrender.

The thing is, one team is winning and a remake takes that away from them. It would be like... "dont get first blood too easliy and have someone rage quit or else your game doesnt count, zero ip."

Thats unfair to the people who are winning and it should be a win/loss. This is the same reason you cant remake after deaths on each side even with a true DC at the start

No means to sound like an SJW here by using this term but...you assume wins/losses in the first few minutes? And you're assuming someone will rage quit at least regularly whenever first blood occurs. So according to your logic games that HAVE kills will have ragequitters?

You just had an unlucky and very common occurrence of an AFK, just move on man.

Well, they are already thinking about a 15 minute surrender because of stuff like this. It has to be unanimous I think, and they're still testing it.

MERCY VOTE. Allows the enemy team to determine if your team is worthy of receiving -0 LP for the game in the event of an AKF.

To combat abuse: • If one member of a duo queue drops, neither member is given mercy (though the extra punishments are only levied against the person that left). • Implement an algorithm looking through the chat of the game as a condition for mercy to be offered. If certain keywords are used before the DC, disallow mercy for the entire team (anything interpreted as coercion to leave; taking into account the champion that dropped and any number of phrases that could prompt somebody to leave -- just don't tell players the list of keywords.) • Make it so that Leaverbuster would have to be triggered as a condition for mercy to be offered. To incentivize use: • Offer a "Merciful Opponent" ribbon at the end-game lobby. If I read correctly; Lyte is wanting to revamp the ribbon system with the roll-out of the new Tribunal. • Have players that show mercy seeded in the Tribunal for positive review, giving more access for the TBD (to be determined) rewards offered through the new system. • Make some kind of Karma skin to commemorate the event -- maybe even make it an unlockable if you maintain a certain level of mercy throughout the season.

That idea would require a ton of thought and programming and probably will never happen.

What i want is to just lose my game without sitting there for 10-15 minutes and move on to play a new one. Just a normal surrender vote but allow it earlier if there is an afk

Yet Riot is a billion dollar company and can't figure out solutions to their gameplay problems. Seeing as how this has actually been an issue for years now, I highly doubt they will do anything. They don't implement anything requested for in the forums. lol

Why do people start a game if they aren't interested in putting forth the time to try and win?

Sure, this person is AFK, but according to your screen shot, you aren't even losing that badly. You're 5/2 and your team is down by 1.

I think the problem here is you have given up, otherwise you would probably win.

Secretly Female1 votes

4v5's are essentially impossible to win because of Riot's recent gameplay change. They changed it to be a "team game," in order to win. Snowballing doesn't work like it used to.

4v5s are not impossible to win.

You have a much better argument that 3v5s are impossible to win, .. which is exactly what happens when 1 of the remaining 4 players decides to give up because the game is over.

If you are the person who has given up, you might as well have been the person to disconnect because that is essentially what you're doing to your team.

I would imagine that you have never won a 4v5 (based on you claiming that they are impossible to win) but winning a 4v5 is one of the best feelings. Your team was at a disadvantage, and you still beat them.

rtbf761092711 votes

Almost every 4v5 is going to be kind of even early laning, until every play they make in the mid game has a numbers advantage and it will spiral out of control.

Yes it's possible to win. Thats why it's a vote, people could in theory win and also want to try to win and they would have the option to keep playing.

But the chances are low and the effort required it high, and the game wasnt even ranked so why bother
