Mobility creep isn't really a problem when a lot of immobile champions are strong

Ashe Cassiopeia Jinx KogMaw Lulu Morgana Nunu Orianna Rumble Urgot Viktor Ziggs Annie All competitively viable with higher then average winrates and reasonable popularity in SoloQ.

Most of these don't even have dashes or speed boosts.

There's tonnes of immobile champs who are used competitively but do just fine in SoloQ roo.

Velkoz is pretty sleeper OP too. His mana costs are ridiculously forgiving.

Uh, Ziggs has a gap closer/escape mechanic that can go over walls in his satchel.

Cassiopeia gets an MS boost if she lands her Q.

Jinx gets an MS boost if she destroys a turret or gets a kill/assist.

Lulu has an MS boost.

Ori ALSO has an ms boost that doubles as a slow.

Nunu ALSO has an ms boost that doubles as an as boost for himself and 1 other person.

Like, I understand that these champions are immobile persay, but to say that they don't have any speedboosts or gaps closers at all is far misleading.

yes most of them don't have gapclosers you fucking spastic, it's like me saying oh i bought boots which gives me move speed so that must mean i have a gapcloser, ziggs is super immobile, he has a w? oh wow which he mostly uses OFFENSIVELY

Lulu and Orianna do have speed boosts, but yeah, they're still slow as shit.

also you forgot this godless asshole: Xerath

Still, Xerath is rather easy to take out once you get to him, since his stun is nigh useless at PB range. Also, in order to get his passive off, he has to get in AA range, which is quite unhealthy against the kind of Leblanc Katarina Zed Ekko Talon.

Also, he can only burst with his 3 basic spells, his ultimate is like useless in a straightforward fight.

But there are tons of weak immobile champions and barely any really bad mobile champions. Yes they've buffed some of the immobile ones to be on par with the good champions now, but a lot of them are not really that good now.

Some of the lowest win rate champions have mobility while at times some of the highest win rate champions have none at all. Heimer was the highest win rate top and mid laner yet has 0 mobility, and Malz is always doing well and has 0 mobility as well. If mages had mobility they would very broken, they don't need mobility when they have enough cc and range to prevent anyone from harming them in the first place, this is why Lux had her move speed dropped a long time ago.

Then Riot nerfs a few items and we're right back at the age of mobility creep.

Theres just one big factor all off them share: they are ranged. Ok, nunu and rumble aren't, but they both don't really need to get into melee range to be effecktive. The dudes that struggle are dps-melees with no gapcloser. Shy, Udyr, Garren, Darius, Olaf, Mundo singed... It's just incredible easy to peelagainst them, as they are shut down by a simple slow and mostly need more than just 1-2 sec in meleerange to be effecktive.

also, you forgot Vladimir on that list

Lol like 7 of those have a movement speed buff and 1 has a gap closer

Alright, let's take those champions as a given for your proposal; let's not debate your choices and get sidetracked by that or talk about how you are actually trying to use winrates as evidence.

So there are those immobile champions who are doing fine. There is still another 110+ champions in the game. Of those that are not the ones that are complained about for being mobile, many, many of those remaining 100+ champions are not good against the stacked deck of mobile champions or are not doing fine in SoloQ or even both.

This alone is a strong point. I don't even have to mention things like that even those champions you say are strong don't do well when jumped upon or ganked by a mobile champion like Orianna or that you actually said that Nunu was not mobile.

The problem I have with mobility is that it makes champions so low risk. Champs that can dash, flash, hop, etc through or over walls are almost impossible to kill 1v1. To compound this, the champions that have those abilities are also high reward. When you have champions that are low risk/high reward, you have a champ that is OP, period.
