I officially give up, ranked has turned into a clown fiesta thats out of my control.

So I used to play this game avidly and stopped to play an MMORPG at the time I was really hyped about, which ended up turning into a second job. Long story short I missed LoL and wanted to come back and climb. Upon returning though I've had very odd games and I just didn't understand until this point, 244 games in that this game has changed entirely. I dont mean new runes, although that apparently is apart of the problem, or even new champs, as some of the new ones I've picked up in the bot lane do feel fresh and somewhat familiar at the same time. This game went from being about strategic map movement, coordination between team members and playing to protect your turret destroying adc to being about.... brawling.... all the time.

In all the games I'e played from silver 1 and below thats all thats happened. I feel slightly ashamed to admit that I cant climb out of silver and thats theres nothing I can do about it. I refuse to conform to the fiesta, on some real im not gonna do it. Not for a shinier elo, like it all looks meaningless now. There have been literal games where players on the other team just run it down mid non stop and because towers are so paper they win. They dont even need ADC's anymore, why do marksmen exist anymore? So here I am as an ADC main feeling like.. wow what happened to change the game so drastically? Could it be that players can literately almost get zeroed out at level one right now with no items? Probably. Theres too much damage in the game. Lanin phase doesnt even feel like the laning phase of old. You have to fight it feels like all the time or you just get poushed in and lose tower. I dont have an issue fighting, but it literately doesnt stop. And thats a big problem for ADC's even for broken ones because they dont turn on with one item. Storm razor comes close but all the mages and tanks with one item outclass you easily.

And as a previous plat 2 peaked ADC 2 seasons ago I admit sometimes I just mentally tilt. My supports don't know any better which is fine, but at the same time I cant do anything to help them or alleviate the issue. Being the guy with least deaths, even sometimes having no deaths just feels like im almost about to lose very winnable games. Even if I do get fed it's so hard to carry as an ADC beause its super easy to shut you down, and getting shut down with any sort of lead is exponentially worse than any other previous season because they get so much gold from it. Not to mention ADc is literately the worst role to carry from it feels like. Any little thing will break me, often times I cant even 1v1 solo laners even if im ahead 2 or mroe items. Sound weird right? But its the truth because everyone does so much damage. Whats going on?

So in saying all this I just really hope this push to steer away from the traditional roles and flow of the game gets reverted. This season just seems like an off-meta low elo dream. None of the games I play make any real sense which is a shame. You dont get rewarded for playing properly it seems at all. You get rewarded for counter intuitively being able to kill.. and kill and.. kill. Objectives borderline dont matter a certain point. Not that they arent strong, like... why are towers a so weak? Why do ADC's have no agency in the game whatsoever? Why do AP mages run rampant in the botlane. Why does a fed top lane feel unstoppable but a fed ADC get shut down with one cc?

Whats happened to this game? Climbing is a wate of time because the solution for me is simple, play champions with super strong cheesy early games and just snowball to victory. But why play like that, when ultimately it's fruitless? You don't learn anything from it, its objectively just killing, and I dont remember leauge being a game solely focused on this. This game needs to slow down, tone the damage down and go back to being objective focused, not a clown fiesta blood bath. Riot fix this game please.

Yes from my experiences from silver and low gold. Games in this elo are clown fiesta.

This happened because riot buffed damage (ignite, some of champions values), nerfed defenses (exhaust/heal, armor on mages, enchanters and marksmen, enchanters healing/shielding abilities, support items) and players finally found out how to use runed to their full potential and what runes to take on which champion - we found out that runes gives huge ammount of hidden damage. So everyone plays with ignite in all lanes, everyone is building damage items first trinity on garen, iceborn or even luden echo on malphite, runic echoes on gragas. On a squishy champion you now die in 0.xx without counterplay. Thanks to this the meta in low elo is "pick the most assassins and fighters you can and fight enemy constantly". Hence even if you know this is not ideal strategy, you are forced to join these constant skirmishes that are often prolonged to the point that those who died at start joins it... Nobody seems to want to do dragons/barons, because right now with the ammount of damage, if you are winning, you don't need to leave the base, you can oneshot the enemies after they respawn and rush to you and finish the game.

So yeah, games in low elo are clown fiestas right now.

you have a negative wr on any adc beside Jinx. The famous fiest isnt the reason why you tilt nor why you cant carry/climb.

Should just work around your micro.

You want a free pass for Gold ? Play your jinx or learn MF dark Harvest.

Isn't it always the case in low elo? Low elo games even ends slower than higher elo ones. Adc is not even necessary below low gold, just play Swain and climb. Though adc/bot lane becomes the most relevant in high elo.

Could it be that you are older now and not good at micro anymore? Try jungle/top/sup instead of adc

If you want a solo/duo partner you can add me if you’d like. When I play I try to play as strategically as possible. Always try to get something if you are losing something if possible. Keep map pressure, etc etc. I play mid lane, Diana and Akali being the champs I’m best at. Idk you can op.gg me if you’d like. I’m always looking for cool,solid players to duo with.
