It's actually incredibly easy to get stuck on Krugs. I jungle Ekko a lot, and you can very easily get stuck where Malphite did or to the left of the big Krug and that's it, you can't move at all.

I have had my creeps get blocked by themselves just before reaching enemy turret, not moving at all. It caused a lane freeze in favor of the enemy. That was super fun!

I've had enemy minions completely ignore my own and bum rush me when I haven't even attacked the enemy laner. But at least they're going back to the old system soon.

I flashed in for an under turret kill with Darius. My opponent, had run behind the turret to avoid being targeted, I flash behind him, the minions literally blocked me there. I was between the wall and turret and the minions stopped movement in any direction! I l literally had no choice but to stand there as it took 6 - 8 turret blast to kill me. Fortunately, the person I was laning against (don't remember who it was), was too scared to engage me, so they didn't get credit for my death.

DotA 2 is even harsher when it comes to blocking and pathfinding, but lanes are MUCH wider and most heroes are much smaller compared to creeps. On top of that, you can actually block creeps strategically, so there are advantages to it.

LoL's minion block is just there to be frustrating.
