Void Superbuff

I actually imagine that someone else has already made this point/suggestion, but I'm too lazy to look.

Rift Herold can only be killed once, ... fine The new buff is very strong, ... fine It lasts for 20 minutes, ... again, fine It persists through death, ... Here is where I think there should be a tweak

I think it should transfer with death like the current blue and red buffs do. The difference is that it will last for 20 minutes.

This way it can continue to be a contested objective and passed back and forth from team to team.

That would be op, i'd make it my life mission to steal that buff.

How the hell is that OP? I think it is pretty OP to be able to keep it even if you die. You could literally feed and you still get to keep this buff. That is just stupid. Reclaiming objectives should be the point of the game. Personally, I'd make it my life's mission to stomp whoever has this buff into the ground if I knew they were going to keep it no matter what because I want to be sure they are irrelevant.

Unless I'm not understanding what you meant, you're saying that you would go out of your way to kill someone who has the buff in order to take it.

What I'm saying is that I would go out of my way to kill someone who has the buff because they will have a practically permanent buff for 20 minutes. This will make them naturally stronger, so they will become a bigger threat. By going out of my way to run them into the ground I would keep them from snowballing. So if you get this buff when you're against me, or anyone who thinks like me, prepare to get camped.

But what if the enemy jungler takes it? You'll be playing Jungle Adventure: Hide and Seek.

Sure, but it would be less effective. The buff reduces damage from enemy champions by 5% when no allied champions are near. So it does not reduce damage from neutral monsters, and it does not reduce damage from enemy champions when you are ganking. It would really only help if the jungler needs to hold a lane. It would still help with clearing camps, so I could see why the jungler would still potentially want it, but it is really better for solo top or mid laners.
