@Meddler Support Balance: How Much More Biased Can You Get?

Patch 8.19: Thresh is buffed (was already doing well in soloq) to see play at worlds (it worked). Meddler says Alistar needs to be nerfed, but they end up never nerfing him (pick/ban at worlds btw).

Fast forward to now, Thresh and Alistar are the only supports who are REALLY out of line in soloq (tank Pyke is getting nerfed). Yet, it seems like they are not nerfing either of them.

At this point, I want to say lol it's because Meddler doesn't want to nerf the support he's been abusing in soloq since a couple months now, since I can't find an actually good reason as to why he's not getting nerfed.

For Thresh, idk if they're scared of backlash from people saying ''he's only good when played by people who are really good at him.'' Yeah, highest skill floor and skill cap support in the game has the highest winrate and playrate of any support in the game (his playrate is double the second highest playrate support), not broken at all. There are many champions who they would never let reach that kind of broken. So much bias, all the time.

Lolalytics - Patch 8.20 Thresh: Plat+: Winrate: 52.3% Best On Champ Winrate: 60.6% Playrate: 28.1% Diamond+: Winrate: 53.5% Best On Champ Winrate: 60.6% Playrate: 29.7%

Alistar: Plat+: Winrate: 51.8% Best On Champ Winrate: 57.4% Playrate: 13.9% Diamond+: Winrate: 52.7% Best On Champ Winrate: 57.4% Playrate: 17.0%

They are performing above any other support other than Pyke, and waaayyy above most other supports.

What the heck is Riot doing? It's really frustrating, and I feel like I'm repeating myself. It's like they don't care or are too lazy to do anything, mixed with a lot of bias in favor of and against certain champions.

Probably because there are several champions who are doing better than those two in bot lane? Such as Nami, who just had her base healing toned down by 25 hp, and Sona. Each having a 53% and a 54% win rate respectively.
