I would rather wait the extra time than be autofilled to a role I have no interest or fun in playing

I can understand at high diamond/master/challenger that autofill becomes a necessity so that you're not stuck in queue forever, but at even diamond five and below, for ranked I play my best champions in my best role. If it takes extra time to get me that role, then so be it.

Well, I'm personally fine with being autofilled into a less popular role for a lower queue time. It's really just a matter of opinion.

Also, from a business standpoint, being able to jump into games quickly gives off an illusion of a heavily populated playerbase, making people more attracted to the game. Most people are impatient, and are more likely to enjoy a game more if they can get into it faster.
