Problems I Have With "Cyborg" Yasuo
Let me preface by saying that I've been waiting for this skin since Yasuo's release: a Minuano-esque, cyborg-type skin. While I of course realize that the skin was just put on the PBE and is thus likely to change, my initial impression was quite poor and I was greatly disappointed. While just my opinion, here are my thoughts:
-
Someone really likes their squares, but the effects comes off as senseless and a little silly. I mean, if Yasuo was wielding a square mallet or something along those lines then I could see it (Full Metal Poppy anyone?), but he's using a katana. Instead, it'd be much more fitting if "blade waves" (terrible wording I know) came off of his abilities to better fit with his weapon.

The colour scheme irks me. I was expecting something along the lines of Kha'Zix's evolved carapace, a black/red scheme that would contrast the blue/white scheme his base skin has, but the grey/orange/navy blue scheme he's got going on now just clashes a bit too much for me. The white hair is a keeper though...

Liam O'Brien has an amazing voice; putting it through a pseudo-digital filter ruins the impact the original lines had and while it worked with the voice of Kha'Zix, I don't believe the same can be said here.

The Wind Wall is... boring. In the original skin it had dynamism, the wind curving and flowing as if it was peeling off of a curved surface. The "digital" wall on the other hand just sits there. It'd be nice if it had some kind of "digital noise" effect to give it a bit more impact than just this orange board floating in the air.

The simple yellowing of his sword (and hilt) after Last Breath to indicate the armour penetration effect is boring as well as after all, he's a cyborg now! Make his eyes glow a fierce red, have his armour split apart and pulse and come to life, make his blade vibrate and course with energy; make him look powerful!

I'm sorry, but the visor needs to be a toggle. Nothing would be more cool than to approach the enemy team with the visor up and then slide it down as you prepare for impending dance of death...
Just my two cents though, and with the utmost respect to those who designed the skin.
Reposting this from General Discussion simply because it fits better here...
