Why, When I Mute Someone, Can I Still See Their Annoying Mastery Spam?

Simple question.

Why did they even put that stupid mastery in the game? It's like it was made for tilt. Your team already knows your mastery on that champion....... And there is literally no other reason to show mastery in the game other than tilt your enemy.

/Ignore @champion, that will stop the mastery/emote spam.

Because if you mute my meming in all chat you still have to know who is the lv 7 Ghost Pimp.

But in all seriousness, it's not like it's that annoyingly spamable. There is a point where muting becomes overkill. You might want to take a deep breath if you are getting tilted by a Rank emote. Not opposed to the idea of it being muted but the root issue is you getting tilted by an Rank emote. That should be something you take at face value. Riots job isn't to make the game 100% tilt proof.

Edit: Don't downvote unless you got a response. It's incredibly petty.

Because it is an emote, and they can't be muted.

You can Just type "/ignore" instead of mute when trying to mute someone

Mind games are LITERALLY used to climb.... You dont think people dont look you up and see who is on a losing spree and just make them 0/7 before the 10 min mark? thats like reporting somebody who counter jungled you.... grow a pair.
