We can all agree this item needs some love

item 3030 I think we can all agree we never see this item and when we do we are not surprised by what it does. It's basically roa with instant better stats early but worse once the roa stacks up. What I don't understand is why is it so God damn expensive at 3000g ? (Vs 2700 of roa) Just a little live tap should be fine :

  • a reduced cost of 2800g
  • or keep te cost and give it 10% cdr ( now im against putting cdr on every item but I would actually really consider picking this item up on my karthus or zilean if it gave cdr. -or meet somewhere in the middle with a 2900 g cost and the 10 % cdr. Maybe this is too much I dunno what do you think ?

Why build item 3030 when you can build item 3152 , right?

its probably not safe to buff that thing

I think protobelt is the scary one.

item 3152 10% cdr + 150 + 35% every 40 seconds

item 3030 20 more AP + 200 + 35% every 40 seconds.

I think the latter is better for endgame

10% cdr means 10% more DPS in the long run (sustained damage). Besides the item 3152 grants an small and very useful dash, also, it's damage can be multiplicative because it says "can hit multiple times", crazy sht

I believe that item 3030 needs more range to it, or maybe if they turn it into an actual ray e.e, it is more like an ice shotgun

10% cdr doesn't only matters if you are needing to cast that much and even then you can get it pretty easy from other places. 20 AP is often the safer solution especially since it actually gives mana to fuel your sustain engine with. But also doesn't the damage go in the direction of the dash on the belt?

Protobelt shoots multiple projectiles which each deal another 20% of the damag. It shoots 7 missles, so 120% extra damage point blank which lifts it to 330+ 77% while offering the utillity of the dash, so it's clearly superior unless your running away and want damage at the same time. The only thing gpl really has going for it is the mana and passive from catalyst.

I sometimes build it on Blitzcrank or on Singed

They should rebuild it into a proper AP tank item. It just feels like something that could work well on the AP tank initiator crowd.
