Brand as a mage/figher

When will he be updated? just curious. He doesn't have many problems but capitalizing on his weaknesses would be great:

  • passive makes him have to do delayed spell cycles
  • CD of spells makes him have to do 2-3 cycles

his passive is great to rework him into a fighter

Maybe revamping Q and E, and adding the stun to his basic attacks. Increased radius of W by 50, so he can wave clear easily

Adding GW to his passive would be nice too so he goessummoner 21 , summoner 7 , or summoner 1

would like to see the blaze version of E as his passive so he can deal aoe damage more easily

Why would you want to rework him into a fighter? We already have enough of them, and Brand is one of the old school immobile mages with assloads of damage I mean, isn't he fine?

he is fine, but there is so much more potential in his design. There isn't that many Mage/fighter hybrids with mage as their primary role - just Swain and Ryze

Vladimir you forgot. Mordekaiser should be a Mage/Fighter as well

But Brand has way longer range than ppl like Swain and Vlad

his spells are skill shots though. There is only a delay to W because of his stun, and E is the combo starter because it is targeted. His burst combo is easy to land because of E. He can outrade most mids because he is an early game lane bully, but he transitions into a fighter i'd say because he uses multiple cycle to soften the enemy team. In a sustained fight he does well

He has a small design flaw, but it also makes him more flexible:

  • do I delay my spells to make use of my passive
  • or do I use the built in delay of my spells to burst my opponent down

another:

  • E ing people in lane isn't very fun

what they choose determines how he itemizes

one burst combo will delete 12%-16% of the enemies max health with one cycle from just the passive
