Adding report feature to pre-game in ranked...

So you're in the top of the pick order, you say mid pref, you get through bans, you first pick Zed (your favorite champ who you're an absolute beast on), the next three players pick up a top laner, jungler, and adc, everything is going smoothly when the last guy picks Akali and insists on going mid. When people admonish his behavior, his reply is, "idgaf..."

I think everyone who plays ranked has been in this scenario. It's not news, or even particularly uncommon. I'm creating this post today because I've ended up dodging two games in a row because of exactly this kind of behavior. That's 6 LP and 10 minutes of game time I've lost and, what's worse, I'm now two matches from being able to get into my promo's instead of just one (and I've had this happen in promo's).

I understand why they penalize people who dodge. Allowing people to dodge freely actually increases trolls because they'll go in demanding to play what they want knowing people will either cave or dodge allowing their bad behavior to go on unchecked.

The trouble is, when push comes to shove, the bad behavior is still allowed to go on unchecked. The penalty doesn't keep people from dodging when people do troll. I'd much rather lose 3 LP than go into a match with someone who obviously doesn't care about the outcome of the game as long as he/she get what they want. And so, the wrong person is penalized and the troll's behavior continues unabated. Or if nobody dodges, you end up with two midlaners (or whatever), and a very much less than ideal game start. So when you get a player like that, it's almost like your choosing between losing 5 minutes and 3 LP or 30 minutes and 20 LP, definitely a lose-lose situation. And there's no downside for the troll. If the person put a premium on winning, they clearly wouldn't behave in such a fashion.

TLDR: There's little to no downside for people who troll in champion select in ranked matches. Whether or not someone dodges, the penalty is going to be incurred by someone who has done no wrong (either through dodging penalties or a probable loss). I propose that a feature be added to allow reports from champ select in ranked matches.
