Why do people look down on Varus mid?
Isnt the midlane for Burst casters?! Varus isnt OP but hes most definitely an AD caster; one with a 275+1.5AD Q thats on a 6 second CD.

Because hes not broken :P Jayce is AA class, Varus is B class at best.
I find it much more satisfying to play varus than i do jayce. Something about having actual skill shots (they matter.... if you miss, youre usually boned), three abilities, and being one of the very few RADs with a true snipe.
Hard Penetrator1 votesEasy to gank, his mid game is pretty medicore, needs tanky top and jungle to work and right now tanky picks aren't popular.
Bruisers, assasins and burst mages with gapclosers will kill you before you unload your dmg.
