ADC feels like the worst position in low elo games

Reliant on support in lane, support/front line in team fights.

If you win your lane as adc in low elo you just won the game. Other lanes don't have the same impact.

In low elo an ADC can win lane and then be blown up by the Wukong who won lane. Replace Wukong with something like Master Yi,

A marksman building as an ADC is the strongest class in the game, but funnily enough they're not self-sufficient at all and are terrible in 1v1s until super late game. And even then, Master Yi for an example can easily kill an ADC that isn't being protected late game.

What? Did you think being a glass canon and responsible for reliable damage came without sacrifice?

I think the only ADCs I've truly played a significant amount of were Ashe, Varus and Ezreal.

Thankfully, the first two had their own methods of peeling for themselves during fights (and CC to engage/disengage them).

Ezreal lacked CC but his mobility and safe long-range poke was enough to survive with little assistance.

I think you meant "ADC" there.

That I did. Whoops.

Ironically, they're the ones low elos are 2nd most prone to complain about.

After assassins, of course.

Because they're the ones you see getting all the kills/objectives.

Everyone sees the Vayne getting the Quadra botlane. No one sees the Amumu jungler who handed her three of those kills on a platter. Nobody sees the Leona support who basically made her un-diveable during the entire laning phase and let her farm in almost complete safety, giving her the gold and XP needed for that Quadra.

I've seen people carry themselves from Bronze to Gold on support. Any role can climb if they're good enough.

ADC is probably the best role to climb with since bot lane in low elo decides 90% of games. The bot lane of one team always feeds the other and bot lane towers are almost always the first to go. Also, 4 man ganks happen repeatably in bot late in low elo in the early game so if you're a particularly good at turning those around when it happens to you or you're good a taking advantage when your team does it, I think it's safe to say you'll have a very easy time climbing.

ADC is a great role to climb on. the principle reason is, ADC has a great deal of tower killing and lane pushing power. As an ADC, you are able to convert sieging situations into towers killed, and won team fights into towers killed.

therefore, you get to make the team win the game, after your team win fights.

The Marksman class also has unparalleled multiplicative damage scaling. The Marksman class is the only class that can start 0-9 and still carry hard if the game lasts long enough. Multiplicative AD scaling means they can do assassin level damage on an auto attack which compared to spells have almost no cooldown. And they can do all this from a distance. The Marksman class really make the best carries.

Marksmen as a class are the most mechanically demanding, even on a basic level. That's why they might feel weak for low-elo players.

Uhh in low elo, bot lanes are usually the ones who feed the most. If you play someone like twitch or draven in low elo you can probably solo carry..

adc is probably the worst position in every role. because. adc comes down to which side is fed more and who can do more damage by right clicking.

and in low elo bot lane usually feed 20+ kills a game.

Unless BOTH sides are feeding 20+ kills, resulting in some way powerful junglers and mids, this statement manages to be both wrong and pointless.

more people that don't play the game

I personally feel the same way.

You are already stuck in the most volatile lane, ADC is the most mechanically intensive role, and it's the role that requires the most effort to keep alive considering the entire reason you are put into the bot lane is to have a support babysit you.

In my honest opinion the effectiveness of ADC in Bronze is completely based on which team has tanks that are better at peeling because the posistioning and kiting skills are so lacking. I am personally a bronze player and whenever I play adc I find that because I just don't yet have the skills involved for good kiting having a decent front line that peels instead of dives the enemy carries is often the difference between me being a powerful tool for the team or a piece of candy worth as much as a seige minion for whoever manages to reach me first.
