Coin and Ardent are so bogus maaan

This bot lane was extremely passive, Jhin and I kept them pushed in so they couldn't do much I guess but Nami did misplay. Regardless I was getting perfect executes on Relic Shield, every cannon minion and every melee minion, never had 2 stacks or was waiting so I was maximizing gold gain on the item. Nami with coin somehow matches my gold although we've denied her coins (about 7 times early, stopped counting after she got nomad's medallion) and she eventually surpasses in gold just cause... By end game I had 1.1K gold from the item and she had 1.7K gold...

I even went +5 g/10 but it didn't matter cause coin. For reference going +5g/10 gives 600g by 20 minutes, at 20 minutes in this game Nami actually had 100g over me. The only reason I passed her in gold was because I got solo tower gold once (our Jhin backed early).

Ardent healing was also ridiculous. We both went nomad's medallion / targon's brace and sight stone at first back. She went on to Ardent Censer and I went Mikael's (cause Ashe / TF and stuff). She only had Ardent for 3 minutes but she managed an extra 800 healing off the item which is also bogus.

So, we did have equal KD and bot lane was relatively slow. I still find it bogus that although I got perfect CS with relic shield early, denied coins early, and went +5g/10 early it didn't mean anything and we had the same gold through most of the game because coin.

And Ardent is just bogus.

#Bogus.

On one hand: Coin IS toxic and we need more people talking about it.

On the other hand: You pushed in your enemy lane as support Kayle all game, with the relic line, while they had coin, and you're complaining?

Uh yeah. She got coins under tower but we denied a lot of coins whenever we had the lane not under their tower. However when under tower she only got coins from melee minions, so not often, she never got range minions because we would beat her down. When she backed for Nomad's Medallion and when lane phase begun closing out she just begun catching up ridiculously fast, eventually surpassing me.

Our Jhin also had a 30 CS lead early on because of us pushing in so it's worth for Jhin but you are right. It's just that who is more important to deny, Ashe or Nami? You can deny Spell Thief's and Relic Shield when you push the enemy under tower much easier because they gotta go through your minions or you just harass them so they can't move up. Coin however means you don't even need pressuring the enemy and you get free gold. Like I said we did deny coins under tower but it was much difficult because we had to tank the next wave to keep them back while fighting them off. If you're wondering where the jungler was they were mostly top and mid .

Perhaps we should've just froze them out but we also wanted to have map pressure and stuff... We could have denied Ashe more reliably by zoning her and kept the wave near us but at the same time it means playing more aggressive and Ashe kinda wins there because she has a range advantage and slows. Still shows how there's not much effective counter play to coin that feels like you're actually doing something.

I didn't push the lane btw or hit minions much, I only did last hits and stuff. We agreed it was better to push them in because extended fights (and when they hit 6) would be really rough because no wards early. Neither of us backed until really late, we were like level 8 / 7 when we backed. So we were able to push them in early for free and stuff and later on we had wards for ganks so level 6 didn't matter (Kayle denies it on her own pretty much).
