Is Gold Creep the real problem?

Let's disregard damage runes for a moment, because those are a problem on their own.

I'd just like to hear everyone's thoughts on gold creep vs damage creep. Riot has stated that they think damage should outscale tanks lategame, and I don't necessarily disagree. However, with turret plating, heavy shut downs for both kills and CS, first tower gold, and rune gold (triumph and klepto mainly), people are getting more gold, earlier in the game than they ever have.

With more gold per game, they can finish their builds faster, which is making staying ahead as a tank exponentially harder. While I agree that damage is probably too high right now, have we considered that the bigger reason for high damage is more easily attainable full builds?

The problem is riot says damage should out scale tanks late game but they want that said late game to start around 22 mins or so. Else the game becomes "a stale watching experience"

Gold creep is just snowball... damage creep is not being able to be on the same screen as the enemy without dying...

Actually its EVERYTHING CREEP. Game is actually out of control. Yep season after season the gold income seems to have always increased this is true, but its only a part of the problem. Look at some of these champ designs...epically beyond busted I don;t care what the win rate says we know that means little.

Irelia? I mean how is this champ even possible? Next to zero mana costs nutty mobility, huge dmg, huge CC, and huge durability....but but melee...uhm nope her kits all range and even her autos have an absurd high range for melee. Its okay we will minus 5 movement speed BECAUSE IRELIA DOESNT JUST DASH THROUGH 5 MINIONS TO CROSS 1.5 SCREEN LENGTHS TO JUMP ON YOU OR TOSS OUT HER RANGED STUN. Irelia could have no movement speed and destroy most league champs, does this champ even walk? all i see her do is repeatedly spam dashes for no mana cost evne lulz, oh and cool she one hits every minion too, dat skill to farm.

Pyke? Is this real? Imagine a character that literally will heal 75% of their hp bar every 12 seconds or so? Oh they also got a movement steroid, go invisible, have a hook, and a stun wait for it a resetting execute ultimate.

Akali....lolwut? We built the perfect assassin have fun playing against that. Great wave clear, Safe laning, Huge burst, Low cooldowns, 100% invisibile, and i mean MASSIVE gap closer. Hell lets toss in some sustain too. Basically resource free.

Aatrox? LOL k? Massive aoe's that also serve as gap closers and CC, enormous dmg, sustain, mega wave clear, some absurd nanana you cant kill me ult and i'll heal a zillion as well, move faster than you too btw. Hey guess what low cooldowns and zero resource to manage how fair to fight this champ (oh never mind the best jayce's in the world beat up on him with jungle help "BALANCED".

I mean I could add many more like the idiocy of ekko. Hey lets give this champion enough gap closer and burst to charge up to most anything have enough dmg to 100-0 with his 3 non ult abilities and then allow him to always escape if he fails by simply pressing R oh and if he happened to take any dmg he will heal it all up. so his gameplay is simply charge into your face like a imbecile dump his dmg, kill you and if you barely survive just ult back out safely over and over and over. JUST OUTPLAY IT BRO WITH LAYERED CC HE IS SQUISHY. The kit is literally built to reward incompetence of play.

I could actually tag on a good number more but these are the most atrocious examples of braindead stupid unbalanced this game has to offer. I know some smart ass is going to try to post another champs kit and say "see anything can sound OP" Bzzzzt denied its not the same these champs literally give up nothing they are literally untouchable they have no equal.

I mean you ever try being ohhh ANYTHING vs an irelia? I can be 8/0/5 vs a 1/8/1 irelia down 50 cs from me and HAVE ZERO CHANCE TO BEAT Her unless you were the player who put her to 1/8 and is most likely playing one of the few absurdly OP champs that can rival her.

Now imagine being an ADC or support? vs that stuff? Oh I see "its their job to kill you" So why do we even play the game if it is pre determined my skill matters not i lose to xyz by default, not because i was counter picked or such just because Well we decided you get to lose ALWAYS. GL have fun spending the entire game running from half of the enemy team who spend half their time specifically hunting you down knowing upfront they will beat you 100% of the time because "riot says so"

Cant even tell you the number of times I seen a 2/3/2 irelia win a 1 v 3, and it isnt because "the irelia played better" its simply because the champion is simply soooo much farking better than your 3 GG EZ.

Argue away like tell me how turret plating lengthened laning ?? ROFL....not on my planet laning ends even faster as everyone gang bangs turrets for the gold. Games and laning end faster than ever. Oh and once the plating fall? DOMINOS 1 herald straight to the nexus lol. This isnt a "relax is pre season" this is a holy crap these developers and truly incompetent how can they have ZERO idea after 8 years on how they can augment different aspects of their game with atleast SOME reliability. The basic premise should atleast work out of the gates not do the OPPOSITE of what it was intended to do.

So ill add idiot creep in the developers is the real problem.

I'd say it's one of, another being CC creep, and then there's also mobility creep, but yeah damage creep is also still a problem.
