A possible fix for DQ? To make it fair.

Let me start out by saying this so it doesn't get downvoted to shit, I do not like DQ, I hate the idea of it, everything about. But here might be a simple fix to help solve the problem of DQ and Matchmaking all together.

How about a buffer for ranked. SImilar to how you have it up in diamonds/challenger and who you can duo/trio with. But instead of multiple tiers, make it division based. for all ranks. Ex: Challenger goes into queue, that said challenger can only be placed with challengers, and masters. Yes the queue times will be long for them, but that is only because there are so few people playing in those tiers. Then for the rest of the brackets. Diamond 1 can only be queued with other D1 players, and high D2 players, so on and so forth. Low D2 plays with all of D3, then D4 and D5 all play together too. And it would be put like that through out all of the ranks to make it a fair playing field.

Also, you can't duo/trio whatever unless you are within the same Tier so to speak. It would make it a way better playing field, and would kind of help take away the boosted animals, or atleast help it. And too, you wouldn't be S3, playing with golds, or low bronzies. it evens it out for the most part, and ensures everyone would get somewhat even teams, compared to the shitfest that we are facing now.

I disagree.

There is no point in trying to fix it because the concept is bad.

Dynamic Queue is a worse ranked system for this kind of game than Solo Queue. Hands down. Done.

Either Riot mean what they say when they talk about prioritizing the health of the game over anything else, or they value their short term money gains that can be made by bringing in a ton of casuals to the game with this Dynamic Horse shit. They can't have it both ways. I'm never going to swallow an inferior system and accept that it is "not that bad" when I know full well that it could be better by simply going back to what it was before. It's a gamble on their part if they want to keep going down this path. Do they think the game can survive without me and the 10% or so of the rabid dedicated fan base who agree with me on this.

When we all jump ship together because they refuse to listen, will it survive? Only time can tell.

But no. You can't fix it because it will always be worse than Solo Queue.

I am not trying to say that it will solve everything, and be better than SQ, but it is a step to look at to make it better than the current shitfest it is now.

Well, Riot will never bring back SoloQ, so you might as well try to fix it. Or jump ship, yeah. But then, don't belittle the people who do NOT want to jump ship and are trying to improve the situation.

Agreed, I would rather have a system like this, because it is more similar to SQ, I don't necessarily care about the premades if everyone was the same rank as you. Or in the same tier bracket.

I have given them till the end of the season before I leave for good. It's been a pretty good run as multiplayer games go, but if this is what it's going to be, then I'm going to look for a new thing to get in on the ground floor. What am I saying WILL, I already AM, just haven't found it yet.

It's just sad you know, usually when I get tired of a game it's because I stumble onto a new one that wrestles it's self to the top of the dog pile for my attention. This time, it's League actively fighting to make me hate it, but nothing, as such is there to fill the inevitable void.

Because I'm not tired of the game, I probably never will be, what I'm tired of is the bullshit, but all I see is Riot taking an ever increasingly "pro bullshit" stance on everything. It's not just Dynamic Queue, it's everything they do. Let's make it easier to ban anyone who uses naughty words in chat. Far more predatory micro transactions that border on out right scams with the Soul stealer Vayne skin nonsense, outright laughable balance decisions across an ever increasing array of champions so that now, Dynamic Queue is really just the final straw.

I can mute all in chat, I can refuse to buy their stupid skins, I can usually ban most of their really outrageously over powered champions but I can't escape Dynamic Queue. That is the one thing where I have no agency to affect it, other than to simply not play the game. So they will put it back, or I will leave. It's really that simple.

I agree, and in fact this was in place pre-Dynamic Queue, or at least a similar system. I would suggest being more relaxed in the lower tiers, because honestly the difference in a Silver 3 and a Bronze 3 is not as dramatic as the difference in Diamond 3 and Platinum 3. If I'm not mistaken Diamond and above are currently restricted to 3 divisions allowable within a premade, so I would say expanding that allowance for Gold and below to 5 divisions and Platinums at 4 divisions.

To me personally though, I am surrently S2, I don't want to be playing with Bronzes, or even low silver. There may not be an extreme amount of skill differential, but there is still a noticeable amount.

You have to realise riot made this DQ so more premades can play with friends and thus more people are encouraged to play the game.

This will just make good friends be unable to play premades again just like before, because realistically you are never going to be in the same division tier as all your friends.

Riots wants to enforece DQ to make more friends stick to playing the game, so there's literally no hope for riot to have restrictions on low ELO, as much as i hate it

With ranked 5s coming back, they can still play with their friends. Just not against solo players. Like it originally was built around!

DeathBurst1 votes

That's already the case. You aren't S3 playing with high Gold and low Bronzie, and there is already restrictions in place for who you can queue with as a premade.

I have already had games playing with G3+, and even as low as Bronze 1...

May I ask for a link/reference to the game(s)?

Ive played almost 400 ranked games. I don't keep records of everything. I just look before the start of the game....

Sadly this didn't work before DQ, this won't work in DQ. Waiting for perfect Tier-to-Tier and Div-to-Div matchmaking will take years.

Hyperiön1 votes

It was way better though than before DQ came out. Queue timers would be a little longer the higher up the ladder you are, so they could tinker with it somehow, but for lower tiers, it wouldn't be so bad because the majority of players are Gold and below.
