I seriously cannot farm with certain top champion because of creep block.

Like seriously I cannot farm for Sh*t with these champion Malphite DrMundo Sion Maokai Nunu Volibear because my own stupid minions are blocking me from even csing right and because of their huge body that needs space to walk through. Worst part is I love when I'm trying to take a turrent and enemy comes but I can't escape them because my stupid minions form up a fken line that I have to walk down to even get pass them when I could have got away without even wasting a flash.

Only enemy minion should block you not your own stupid minions.

Yeah I've always been bothered with the minion interaction. Being a bear 10 times the size of a minion and you have to walk around it.

Ya and other in meta champion are slim or normal size/small that can walk pass them that these guys can't.

Sion pretty easy cause you just e the minions but the worst out of all those for me is Olaf and volibear

...how in the frozen 9th circle of hell are you having problems CSing as Sion? Sion. The champion with three basic abilities that can effect multiple targets and high base damage.

A fully charged Q can clear minion waves if you let your minions rough them up a bit.

Seriously, how are you having CS trouble as Sion? You shouldn't even need to go through your minions much.

Gubaguy6 votes

If you burn mana to Cs with sion you are going to have even bigger problems when the enemy laner all in's you

Ralanr2 votes

First: you don't need to burn much mana to farm with Sion. Second: getting Bami's makes farming a lot easier. Third: corrupting potion is supposed to help with mana sustain. Fourth: Sion is very good at sandbagging a lane and you should be careful with managing your mana, but that doesn't mean you should not farm with them. You can farm and deny farm to your opponent at the same time!

Fifth: if you're against an AD top laner, you should be rushing frozen heart anyways.

AramsAreBest2 votes

Sunfire cape is a much better first item vs ad

Droogzy1 votes

Sure if you're playing a widely used meta champ.

Frozen heart is still the better rush for Sion though despite sunfire being the meta item, mana means he can instantly clear every wave. 20% CDR means his ult CD is significantly lower. And the AS slow is just a nice bonus on top of everything else.

It is a problem but I don't think ghosting through them is the right solution.

Just give them some AI to move out of the bloody way

Make a unique interaction based on size and aa range. ALL MELEE Large champs (fat and/or tall) trample minions as they walk over them. Losing 10 ms and dealing a lil dmg to em.

Mid size (most champs) push them out of the way, you lose 10ms as you shove your way through them and you deal no dmg to them.

Small (yordels) move freely through friendly minionds as they're tiny but take damage from ALL super minions they collide with and experience normal unit collision with all enemy minions.

Ranged champs behave as they do currently.

Squidsmastah1 votes

Aw yeah man a whole 8 (including Tryn, Heca, and Fizz) champions that don't have minion block problems! Yusssss.

8 out of the 137 or so champions in the whole game!

Melledoneus1 votes

What I meant was that the jerks who play those pogchamps top lane are inconsiderate of real top laner problems.

I'm a Shen main. I deal with it EVERY TIME.

Removing creep block on your own minions would completely destroy many skillshot based champs. That wouldn't help anybody, we rather just need something that makes the mechanics around minion block less clunky. My problem isn't being blocked, it's being blocked with my character not properly reacting to my movement command and really just being stuck in between them. It should just be like properly stopping me and not let my character have super weird pathing.

i actually played a Malphite game last night and felt like they secretly made creep block a bit less oppressive.

personally i love minion block, you can use it to benefit you as well with positioning, if you are trying to freeze the wave, block your incoming waves minions so they are forced to slowdown/go around you, delaying your cannon even 2 hits pretty much guarantees enemy wave shoves harder than yours.

barbarianskull1 votes

One of the reasons I like playing irelia sometimes is because you can just q and not deal with that.

xWaters1 votes

Try it with Nautilus man, I end up going in circles lmao.

Xonra1 votes

Yeah last time I played Naut, I went to auto attack a creep and my minion line moved up (the enemy attacked me so my minions went after them like crazy). Suddenly I'm Nautilus running i ncircles doing a break dance trying to path to the minion I clicked on, and had to waste E for one minion.

invisiblecat11 votes

Any melee champion without a spammable movement ability that allows you to get through the minions, or some sort of ranged champion are hard to farm with

ItsOrval1 votes

Use abilities. Also you are pretty tanky, so just stay in brush, come out and last hit the minions.

TFBaam1 votes

easy fix make all melee 175 range

What about Nautilus , you forgot the titan

Most of those champs' farming can be greatly assisted by using their abilities in moderation. Particularly, Mundo's cleaver refunds the entire HP cost if you last hit so farming should never be an issue by the time you get a few points into that and W. All of Sion's abilities are AOE and his E displaces enemy minions which forces both side's minions to rearrange themselves. As long as you can manage Nunu's passive, there is no way anyone should have trouble farming with his Q or E. The fear on Voli's E should shuffle the minion waves enough or just last hit multiple minions at once if you time it right.

A lot of that has to do with properly positioning yourself.
