I really wouldn't call it a lengthy description When I see someone banning an intended pick that normally wouldn't be banned i'll throw something down like.
{x] unsportsmanlike conduct
- intentionally banned a teammates intended champ.
Just a short 1 line "what happened" that I'm sure the system will pick up on if it received enough of them. Similarly if I was doing another form of report like harassment. I would put "harassed teammates / enemies throughout the game"
Now are there instances when you can make a case for banning someones champ? yes but if you do, the conditions are reasonable I won't report (especially not if you say something to the guy)
For example pick 4 wants to grab someone widely considered OP and frequently banned and have not mentioned trading with any teammates. That's fine you could argue that the risk of the enemy team picking them was to great. I would personally throw in a "sorry bro, I just can't risk the first pick X"
One can assume that the people doing the former do so relatively frequently so would accumulate a good number of those reports and be detected by the system. Whereas the later would less frequent with less reports (or no) reports per incident and likewise be fine.
I hope this trend of banning peoples champs stops. (hopefully some warnings / punishments contribute to this) stopped listing my intended picks and saw their ban rate decrease 80-90% (with my teammates) . This saddens me though because I enjoy being strategical with picks, trying to form a balanced team comp / trading with others for securing / avoiding counter picks etc.. That can't happen if people are too afraid to display their intention due to trolls.
