Lifesteal is way too strong for a stat.

It could be on Vayne, Yasuo any AD champion. By building Warlord, item 3812 item 3072 item 3153 item 3074 Any lifesteal item, An Adc Lifesteal way too much with Runnan Hurricane, item 3065 is another item that buff lifesteal, Don't forget the +8% increase healing masteries. No wonder the Artillery champion are not played, every single poke done to an yasuo or ADC are regained by auto attacking the nearby jungle camp. Do not forget that Crit influence alot lifesteal.

Spellvamp at least is based on the cooldown of abilities. I think Grievous wounds needs a buff.

item 3046item 3812 item 3074 item 3072 item 3031 item 3078 This was my build on Yasuo, my Q tornadoe would 1 shot a minion waves late game criting for 1200, and healing me for 900.

Burst damage counters life steal. This is why assassins or high burst mages/bruisers can destroy champs that depend on life steal. Also the margin for error playing Vayne and Yas is pretty small in that it can be unforgiving when you make mistakes.

Burst is countered by Magic resist and armor, if you cannot kill a champion in one rotation, they will take that opportunity to lifesteal, and getting their hp back up, while your spells are on cooldown.

An ADC isn't going to be stacking a lot of MR or armor enough to ward off assassin's and burst mages if they're stacking life steal and AD. What ADC ever has enough mr or armor to survive a full rotation of a decently farmed assassin?

Warwick and Aatrox come to mind....

Warwick and Aatrox aren't assassin's or burst mages.

That's two items and they are both still offensive items with simply defensive utilities to them. While you can use both those items, it is usually unlikely ADC's get both those unless they are very behind and opposing team is primarily AP. This gives ADC's who usually have low MR to begin with around 75 MR with STILL low HP and low base resistance stats.

You're basing this entire argument off of a very specific condition and circumstance. You have a point and I understand what you are saying but it's not quite as skewed as you think.

You can lifesteal - but only if you can hit the enemies. You will die before you can touch anyone with such a silly build. There are many mages that can 1v5 lategame while shredding the tanks of the enemy team to half with their first rotation. Lifesteal is Ok for out of combat regen, if you use it on minion waves and that's it. Also selling boots is not smart, if the enemy team is mobile too. If they catch you, you can throw.

I can sit in a teamfight lifestealing the nearest target near me and I would still be considered Tanky, I was against Riven and I was literally just sitting infront of her auto attacking her, letting her attack me over and over. She realize there is no point in fighting me because of me being unfair to play against.

You're going to have to name Mages, because I can't think of any mage that could come close to 1v5ing.

Brand and Fiddlesticks are the only two that come to mind, and that's only if they get a very significant lead, and only one of them can really "shread" tanks.

Any mage with decent AOE and AP scalings...

Unless all of your enemies stand in a space the size of a Karthus Q, I think you're going to need to re-evaluate your 1v5 statement. AoE only goes so far, and often the cooldowns prevent you from trying again as those that survived the initial blast avenge their fallen comrades.

I have to agree with OP but for a different reason. Considering they removed spell vamp from all items in-game, it makes no sense to make/keep life steal so strong. Having a way to "counter" life steal doesn't make having insane amounts of life steal reasonable. But as with many other things in the game that I don't agree with, it is unlikely that anything will happen with life steal. It's not exactly a game breaking issue and there are other issues more prevalent.

The only way to counter Lifesteal is to have an immune skill that nullifie any damage dealt to you which are converted to health. That is why champion such as Jax, Shen don't have a problem dealing with lifesteal because of their abilities. Thus if you build lifesteal on them thats just being unfair.

Well, to be honest, life steal only becomes a major issue if the person building it snow balls early and gets fed hard. That's about the only time I have seen life steal work insanely well.
