Because of the ADC change I'm playing midlane now...

And I'm actually performing better than I was when playing adc, although I never really played midlane before.

Makes me sad... and depressed... [zombie-nunu-bummed] What should I do now?

The role is so much fun

Freedom in terms of map movement
More agency over a game

Just imagine if they made changes to ADCs so that they could have those things.

That said, this seems to be the story of a lot of ADC mains. Either they stopped playing because they aren't interested in other roles(I only really play ARAM's or 3v3's lately) or they picked another role instead. Its no wonder the role is the least mained one in the game right now.

While I agree the role had a bit too much say on the outcome of a game, they didn't need to be eviscerated with the level of nerfs they received.

Removing Enchanters from power probably would have bought ADC's down enough.

That's my thing though. Even when ADCs were "strong"(they weren't; Supports were), they still had a general lack of Agency over their own laning phase, over their own game, and were pretty static in where they could go. Laning phase was decided by their team; was their support/jungler good? Then they won lane. Was their support/jungler only marginally okay? Then they went even. Were their jungler/support bad and inted their lane? Welp, doesn't matter that they didn't feed; their laner is now fed and is up half an item.

There was no agency or much of anything they could personally do about any of this either. :/ All of the agency was and still is with the jungler/support.

Oh yeah, I also play jungle sometimes, but not as often as I play mid or botlane

Just because you do good in a role, doesn't mean you enjoy it

Then play something else?

If "I enjoy this role" has a higher priority for you than "I do well in this role", then there is no need to force yourself to play the role where you do better anyway.

item 1038 into a zeal item. Its the best build by far, and has been for many seasons.

Also if youre having problems playing marksmen, why dont you just play snowball or lane bully marksmen? Lucian, graves, quinn, caitlyn, draven, all very capable right now with a little skill and a good sustain support.

Right now, mobile lane bullies and very safe champions are your friends. Alternatively, if youre any good at azir, try AD azir. He has the best basic attack animation in the game, and is pretty mobile. You dont get much use out of his abilities though...
