Is MF 3 difficulty?

MF is not diffculty 3, Tristiana or Lucian are much easier to play. MF has some mobility till she takes any damage, then she is immobile. Make it rain does negligible damage, the only reason to use it is for the slow. Bullet time does no damage and basicaly mandates that you go for some ap. Getting Ap for R is a trap tho, In the end 80% of mf's damage is from AA. MF has been nerfed bad, she cant bully, zone, or duel anymore.

The difficulty IIRC is supposed to be a measure of how hard/long it takes to "master" a champion.

So a champion like MF would be relatively easy, as there isn't really much depth to her. Most of her abilities don't require twitchy timings, or situational reaction; she's relatively straight forward.

Lucian is pretty easy to pick up as well, but his Ult is harder to control, and the balance between spamming abilities or maximizing use of his passive. There's a lot more little things you can learn on a champ like Lucian, and to a lesser extant Trist, whereas MF is pretty much just about landing all your abilities.

I have to disagree on this idea if that is truly what difficulty means.

You expect me to believe that Singed is more difficult to master than Mordekaiser? Than Leblanc? Than fucking Zed? Nah mane, I can't agree with that. There are quite a few champion that I believe have gotten a better difficulty indicator Braum Caitlyn Graves, but for each champion that I believe has a good representation on their difficulty on the bar graph, there are about 3 that make me scratch my head Annie Evelynn Garen (Uh, ok?) MasterYi (really Riot? 4? The self proclaimed nooblord is a 4 difficulty?)MissFortune (You really think MF is easier than Yi?) Morgana (And Morgana? And Sona is more difficult? Like dafuq?)

Singed is definitely more complex than Mord, in fact, Phreak even used Singed as an example of a champion that is different, and a champions that you have to spend time to master.

It's really funny because a lot of the comparisons you listed are true. Sona has basic abilities, but there are a lot of things to manage that a more experianced player can learn or use. Morgana is much more straight forward.

It's not perfect, but it's the philosophy they said.

Again it difficulty rating has nothing to do with mastering a champion. It has to do with how difficult it would be for a new player to win games with that champion.

Riot has stated that difficulty is based on how difficult it would be for a new player to pick up a champion and win with them.

And no, Tristana and Lucian are not easier to play, both champions are more mechanically complex, more so Lucian. The only difference is that being immobile MF requires better and smarter positioning. In terms of her actual kit MF is pretty simple.

Her ult applies her w, which scales off ad, so you don't have to build any ap.

MF is pretty easy to play compared to every other skill in the game. Every single thing you learn to learn the game is what you need to learn for ADCs, so most if not all of them are going to be low on the difficulty meter.

I also think it measures how difficult it is to win with the champion and how difficult it is to master and do well consistently with them against a variety of factors. I would say by default all Melees are harder, especially ones that aren't tanky. Ranged + High damage output + Mostly right clicking means most ADCs are pretty easy to learn. You learn one and you can pretty much learn all of them.

I would say champs like Yasuo, Zed, Riven etc., deserve to be the highest on the difficulty bar.

Riven....difficult....you can play her at her skill floor and wreck faces....??!?!?!?!?! ROFL. i agree with zed and yas though.

Just my thoughts.....but I'd say ori is the hardest champion to master...but probably worth the time.

Orianna, while being hard to master, is pretty easy to pick up. She's forgiving with a shield that gives free stats, a passive that ensures you win 90% of trades, and you can easily escape ganks with your w. Sure, there are nuances like ball positioning, ult timing, etc, but she's easy to pick up, which is what the difficulty bar is supposed to indicate.

You're conflating skill cap with power level. The difficulty bar only tracks skill, and doesn't care how strong the champion is in current play.

Miss Fortune is mechanically quite easy to play.

She's relatively hard to have success with, because she's immobile and we aren't playing in an AoE meta.

Bullet Time have a hidden AD scaling though (somewhat).

It is good to remember that it does apply the damage and stacks from Impure Shots (W).

So, you basically get a 198/210/216% Total AD scaling on ultimate (keep in mind that it's weakest at first shot and strongest at last) - though, it's still magic damage. Void Staff might be good on her, actually.

MF isn't bad at all tho, she might not be as easy as she used to be, but he is still good. Just build a black cleaver. Deeps.

I think mf is pretty straightforward and easy. 3 difficulty rating is pretty fair. It doesn't take much to play mf at the same level as the average player, while it takes a lot more skill to play someone like ahri at an average level.

Tristana and missfortune are adc for "noob" (meaing players are learing marksmans). Miss has high health and good damage, and tristana mobility and she is safe.

I agree, about Zed, He and Draven are fun, but mechanically difficult to play. So i end up having games here and there where i get 15 kills and games where i get 5 kills.

So IMO MF is diff 3 to learn, but somewhat immobile ADCs like MF, Jinx, And Koggles are really much harder to play if you want to win consistently.
