The only thing that I dread more is the "but Bramble dude" mafia.

Yi is not considered a good champ in high elo ranked, but guess what: most of the league population is in gold, silver, bronze and normal blind pick. You can search the datamining sites for his pick % in low elo and normals. He is one of the most popular champs in the game along with Yasuo, Lee, Thresh, Vayne etc. Expect even more Yi skins in the future.

Riot said their original nerf was intended, but with other changes that occurred she was made much weaker than intended.

I still hate her and wish to see her less mobile than the juggernaut class, but that was the reasoning they used for the buff.

Yes and who builds bramble vest? Oh yeah, tanks. And who doesn't build it? Oh yeah other carry tops. Fiora is pure cancer to every non tank toplane. A jayce, camille, irelia, darius won't be more useful than her, they can#t splitpush against her, they always play against the clock and all while fiora is strong enough to bully and beat them in the early game despite her ridiculous scaling. Reverting fiora back just means she can continue to outtrade you with no chance of retalition since she can just run away. If she does manage to have the upper hand she presses R and runs you down. That massive MS buff for pressing R is the biggest bullshit ever and bramble vest won't stop it. It's kinda funny that the champs fiora is supposed to counter (tanks) are better against her than other bruisers.

Tanks do better against her actually because they can try to survive and CC/tank for their team. And other fighters not only suffer against her reasonably(ha-ha) strong early game but cant do anything in the game after because she,for some reason,outscales every other bruiser on a side lane.Just because all melee carries pretty much relegated to splitpush only now its gonna be nightmare again to play.At least when Fiora wasnt autowin at sidelane(but she was picked in pro scene anyway so) we got to see champs like Camille Jax Kled JarvanIV Renekton Trundle in action and pro games.

seriously bramble vest is a good option into her but it wasn't like you autowin just for building it against her.

She can still kill you but it just meant you have a realistic shot at killing her or at least not be straight up afraid to be near her. She still outscales every side laner and bramble vest/thorn mail didn't change that aspect about her. All it really did was slow down her ascension to god mode and make her team fighting somewhat worse.

Back in patch 7.14 we made some changes to curb some of Fiora’s mobility, but those nerfs coincided with shifts in the meta to leave the Grand Duelist in a rough spot. In a world where Bramble Vest didn’t exist, forcing Fiora to work reach her enemies—and stick to them—made sense. In a world with Bramble Vest, however, Fiora’s dealing less damage (opponents have more armor) and sustaining less off Vital procs (Bramble Vest’s Grievous Wounds), so that handicap no longer makes sense. We’re reverting 7.14’s mobility nerfs and will keep an eye on Fiora.

True, if fiora and darius players are on the same level, fiora will win. Although fiora is a much more skilled champ than darius so a good fiora will never lose to a darius after the MS buffs to her ult. Just parry darius's Ult to negate 50% of his damage.

Fiora is not the reason fighters aren't viable. Team comps with 2-3 tanks and a babysit support make sure a fighter will never touch the ADC. Meanwhile the ADC skillfully right-clicks you to death. Fiora is the only one with a design that can somewhat deal with the meta.

And god, a high skill late game hyperscaling beast champion having a 49% win rate from 54% not being able to win lane isn't a bad thing.

How about instead of cry "Muh poor Fioruh" when she's been lightly below par for a patch, we buff champions like Aatrox who've almost never seen the light of day. Aatrox was already bad, and Bramble fucked him too. Where's his buffs? How about Trundle who hasn't been relevant for over two patches in a row since last year? Poppy? Remember her? Galio? How come after Fiora had a 51%+ win rate from last August till July she gets buffed for being kinda bad, but Poppy gets a joke buff after 12 patches, and is still waiting for love? How come Aatrox hasn't been buffed in 10 patches? How come Trundle waited 11 patches to get a part of his kit he got stripped of?

it was a joke, and aatrox isn't that bad rn he just has nothing special that makes people wanna pick him over someone else and hes very feast or famine. dude just needs that rework, but hes not actually weak overall.

poppy's meant to be a niche pick against certain champs but I agree id like to see her more. galio has the old shen/azir/etc problem where his kit is too good in pro play when its normal for the rest of us.

but part of it is just that its the worlds patch and they think fiora would make the worlds meta more interesting, where someone like trundle isn't really gonna do that.

Here's the thing: Fiora ISNT INTERESTING. We saw her as a pickban for the last two years, we already know how it goes by now, there's literally two circumstances with Fiora picked by a decent player in the pro scene

Jungler camps top, Fiora gets fucked over royally
Jungler helps other lanes, Fiora gets Firstblood, Zirene screams "outplayed", Fiora crushes lane, no one can deal with her splitpush, all the shoutcasters inform us every 3 minutes that Fiora's ult deals 75% of the tank's health in true damage

I like new Cho and Maokai though. New Cho definitely takes more skill after the changes (I'm not counting the stone plate interaction though because that is dumb) and Maokai at least is better skill wise. By how much more is questionable though.

Illaoi is never going to see pro play in her current state though.

ik she is cancerous to play against but the removal of the ms buff was just overkill and i think you guys dont realize how hard bramble vest is coutering her xd it was hard to tf with her even without the nerfs with them its pretty much impossible so i partly think its good that they are reverting the change but i honestly have no idea how to make her less frustrating
