Why does it seem like Kat performs better on red side?

Maybe I'm crazy but it seems like I always do better with Kat when playing on red side than blue, I was thinking maybe it has something to do with the terrain around drag, but I'm not sure. Is this a thing that anyone knows anything about? Not even just for Kat, but the basic principles of what advantages each side has / what champions are favored for that side?
