Why I hate being in the duo lane queuing solo
I HATE being in the duo lane as a solo player. Every time I do, I am immediately reminded why I don't play either ADC or support anymore. Take my last game for example: I felt like playing ADC, so I got the role and locked Caitlyn. My support, Sona, locks TP Sona and either goes AFK in champion select, or refuses to communicate whatsoever in champion select. So, we get in game. I want to take Krugs, because my jungler is starting Gromp. I ping Sona to do it, and I even physically type it out. No response from Sona, and no movement. At this point, I'm annoyed but I don't say anything, because it's not too important. Then, the first minion wave hits, and I'm farming and Sona is still sitting in the same spot under tower. Then, just out of frustration, I ping her about three times. No response. So, then I type "Sona AFK" in team chat. Sona then gets tilted and angry, then proceeds to run into the enemy ADC and do what seems like intentionally feeding. She even flashed under tower. I then do my best to try to ignore her, but there's only so much I can do. The jungle Graves never ganks my lane, but I can't blame him, as I wouldn't either. Sona, after her second death goes AFK in fountain, causing me to get zoned from CS and whatnot. She rushes
.
We eventually lose, and the team flames bot lane as a whole, when in reality, I tried my best and did all I could, but my support was inting.
It seems like when I want to play in the duo lane and queue with randoms, they progressively get dumber and dumber. Things like this, just make me want to play Overwatch and never look at this game again. At least there, the community either doesn't spend all game in all chat, and you can still win games if your team is trolling and you're good enough.
