How do you get the "Do not disturbe" status notification in the new client?

One of my friends had this instead of "Online" or "Away", and it was written in blue letters. He changed to "Online" not realizing what had happened, and upon me asking him about it, neighter one of us could figure out how to replicate it. Has anyone else seen this in their client (it's in the new one, not the legacy)? And how do you make it show that notification?
