Likely the rune wars. I mean it seems likely that Icathia fell before Shurima and in Ryzes lore we learn that his master was involved in Icathias destruction.

I think it was shurima's fall.

Rune Wars presumably, since Skarner's lore indicates Shurima was involved in the Rune Wars.
