So i was browsing through LOL wikia and noticed that Skarner ult, if used in optimal circumstances, can deal 700 base damage. This look insanely high for base damage, and so far in my browsing i have found another champion with higher base damage on a spell that's not DOT (ala Tibber aura, Fiddle ult or Kat). So is it true that Skarner 700 base damage ult is the highest non DoT base damage spell in the game?

Sion R: Unstoppable Onslaught Maximum damage: 900 +0,8 bonus AD physical damage
Pantheon R: Grand Skyfall Maximum damage: 1000 +1.0 AP magic damage
Nunu R: Absolute Zero Maximum damage: 1125 +2.5 AP magic damage
I think Vel'Koz also has like 900 on his ultimate, but didn't bother checking.
Hard4Hamsters1 votesOne thing to keep in mind is that is a single target ability. Meaning even if it has a really high base damage, it is only going to be 700 damage. Compare that to an AOE Ultimate like Gragas, Oriana, or Sejuani and if they hit 2 or more enemies, they effectively do more damage than Skarner's ult.
