Those who are worried about that new assassin item
Think of it this way.
If rengar could burst you 100% to 0%$ before what have you to lose in him getting some extra damage after 2 seconds?

If Rengar gets fed, his ult might as well automatically open your shop window. Would save a few fractions of a second.
im thinking of it this way: assassins could maybe burst me to 20-30% hp but then their damage stopped for a few seconds in which i could kill them. thats their weakness. now its gone. their only weakness is literally gone with this item. not to speak of zed and talons and rengars and renektons absurdely increased laningpower with that item. also ofcourse, quite a few other champions. i say its too good in lane.
The item seems fine since it's an assassin item, I'm just worried of all the assassin nerfs after it, and then the sudden item nerf.
Another approach:
Once the item is in the game, AD assassins will invariably be balanced around its existance. Meaning, while they might be too strong for a patch or two, they'll be brought back in line. Additionally, with distinct itemization, it allows for AD assassins to be brought into line without negatively affecting the rest of the cast.
On top of that, I'd argue that assassins being good at their job (blowing up a squishy) is actually a good thing, as much as I hate to be on the receiving end of it (being an ADC main). The problems in previous times came from the fact that the itemization of assassins allowed them to blow up even tanky champions, and be ridiculously overkilling against squishies (main culprit being Last Whisper as a core item). Also, itemization options allowed them to circumvent an intended weakness of many AD assassins too early (Tiamat's passive).
Well you know, you lose those times where you flash away and live on low HP. That's a thing.
