Skill prototypes I'd really love to see molded into actual future Champion kits

Got a few I'd love to have put into the game at some point. Note that the names are place-holders, and the abilities are rough drafts, so take salt as needed.

#Ion Orb/Ion Bolt First Cast: Fires an Ion Orb that damages all enemies it passes through. After casting, you can cast Ion Bolt within the next few seconds. Second Cast: Fires an Ion Bolt that damages the first enemy it hits. If Ion Bolt strikes an Ion Orb, the Ion Orb explodes, dealing heavy damage to all enemies in the blast radius. Enemies that have already been struck by Ion Orb take reduced damage from the explosion.

#Hoodwink Dash in target direction and send a clone of yourself dashing in the opposite direction. Enemies who touch either you or your clone during the dash take damage. This clone lasts a brief time after the dash before expiring, automatically walking in the direction it's facing after dashing.

#Showstealer Dash up to target enemy Champion and steal a large percentage of its attack damage and ability power for a short time. You can then recast the ability within a short time to dash to a target allied Champion (cannot target self) and transfer the stats you stole to your ally, increasing their AD and AP for a short time. If you don't recast the ability within the secondary time window, the stolen stats are lost. All stat modifiers decay over their respective duration. The stats given to your ally are equal to the amounts initially stolen.

#Wind Curse Place a mark on target enemy Champion, which gains a stack each time a basic attack is landed on the target. If 5 stacks are reached, the mark is consumed and the target is dealt damage and knocked airborne briefly.

#Infestation Toggle: Mark a target location. While Infestation is toggled on, you send Broodlings every second toward the marked location that will attack any enemies they come across (they do not prioritize Champions). The Broodlings are very fragile, time out after a short duration, die upon attacking structures, and do not cause unit collision (except with each other). The upkeep cost of Infestation increases every second.

The Ion Orb/Bolt idea seems pretty cool! That would be neat visually and would have counterplay if the Ion Bolt could be stopped by enemy tanks standing in front of the Orb.

Showstealer would also be neat on a Debuffer support.

That'd basically be the counterplay to the Ion Orb/Ion Bolt combo: Get between the Orb and the caster so they can't detonate it. Ion Bolt stops upon hitting an enemy (like an Ezreal Q).

Showstealer would be a big reason to pick a Champion, IMO. Got an enemy team that's banking most of their damage on one player? Screw them over by stealing all that offensive power. Or got a Jax that's out of control? Turn his rampage against him!

Hoodwink is practically Shaco Ult

Wind Curse is practically Tristana E

Infestation has an Elise feel

Yet they have their differences.

Shaco's ult gives you a controllable clone that can do damage and explodes to damage nearby enemies when it dies. Hoodwink's clone only can damage stuff while you are in mid-dash, and not afterwards.

Tristana's E can be put on turrets, and deals AOE damage when it explodes. Wind Curse only damages the afflicted target and can't be used on turrets, and would be more like Braum's passive.

Elise's spiderlings are not designed for sieges, while the Broodlings from Infestation would be absolutely awesome for sieges.

The Hoodwink skill seems a bit odd. Let's assume you're laning against someone. At some point, you hoodwink away from the enemy. Your clone will walk directly towards the enemy and his minions. It's probably not you, but since you're out of the enemy's range, they can attack the clone and can't really target you. There's also no reason NOT to attack the clone, because it doesn't explode.

Now let's say you know that and you decide to bluff by hoodwinking at the enemy. Now you're in the middle of danger and minions, and your enemy will attack you because you're the only one they can reach--your clone is out of their range.

Basically, because the clone travels the "exact opposite direction", the enemy will always want to attack the one coming towards them (because it might be you and even if it's not, they can't reach you now anyway).

I do really like the Showstealer one though.

That's me wording it incorrectly. It should say "Send a clone of yourself dashing in the opposite direction."

The idea of Hoodwink is to play mindgames with your opponent. You can make them overreact by dashing away from them, causing your clone to dash at them, and then they might burn a huge amount of mana or cooldowns attacking the clone. Then you can re-engage them shortly afterward while their ult might be down.

Alternatively, you could use it to fake yourself going over a wall. If your opponent flashes that wall trying to chase your clone, that's an epic juke.
