Suggestion: Customizable pings?

I think it would be neat if we could set pings ourselves, with custom messages we use often. It could be something basic like "Ward here." Or something more specific to you. Like when I'm playing Yuumi without boots and am trying to attach to a teammate, I could use a "Pick me up" or "Wait for me!" ping. Now, obviously this feature would be heavily abused, because we can't have nice things, but I think if the pings were shown in the chat log and people could be punished for abusive pings, it might be okay? What do you guys think?

Whatever gets me more ping variations and on demand communication in game I am ok with.

Absolutely NOT.

If you thought toxic spam pings were bad now, wait until you're getting pinged with racial slurs and OMG YOU'RE SO BAD Lets not make these customizable. Lets remember the community we're dealing with.

However, I do think it would be a fantastic idea for Riot to release a series of pings for relevant, frequently used commands. I'd personally like to see a series of emotes that are targeted.

Make it a layered radial wheel. First selection is champ, then action, then target. So you could do things like "Darius, flank from here." "Mordekaiser, Ult that Kayle." "Vayne, stand behind Braum"
