Serious question about fiora riposte

maybe this is the wrong forums, but i just played a game against a fiora as lux and when I landed my snare, i then launched my E R follow up. she took zero damage because she riposted right as I launched them. I figured she could block one of the abilities which would be a well played timing on her part, but is she supposed to block everything while riposting?

i mean it felt kinda cheesy to be honest. is it a bug or is this really how it works now?

Yes that is exactly how it works. While channeling her W she is Immune to EVERYTHING.
