Can't push as hard as he does since he pokes me the entire time, can't push with banner minion since they don't punish him hard enough, and can't interact in lane vs infinite poke. Even if he takes minion aggro he heals back up :^)

If you're Udyr then you can buy executioner's calling, and you only need to spend 800 gold for it.
But yes, let's blame the game for you refusing to use the counterplay option that's readily available.

I would still have to AA him to apply it and as any ranged champion, he stays out of my range to apply it. So I actually waste 800 gold. If it was the chase of Darius or Illaoi, then it would be a different story.
