Idk why but i'm affraid of what will GP's E become
I fear that his E changes will weaken his laning/poke phase or even chase if his passive disappears.

Odds are it's going to be a shitty version of something a ranged carry or assassin has, but it's not allowed to be strong on GP because melee auto attackers are unhealthy or something.
Meddler said it probably would be less useful for his support role than current E. I guess it'll either be a damaging skill with low base numbers and strong ratios (don't think it'll happen) or a mobility spell, which will probably replace his current soft mobility provided by the MS boosts. Some CC would be nice but it'd be useful for a supp GP so I don't know.
If anything, you should be afraid of what his Q becomes...
At the start of the GP rework we sat down and did some hard thinking about what defined Gangplank. Our eventual conclusions were:
- Primary identity - Eats oranges and is k.
- Secondary identity - Pirate, plus some other stuff.
Ok, that's a bit of an exaggeration. Post rework GP's still going to be eating citrus fruit and then feeling fine though.
Notice how nothing is said about Parrrley?
In the past they had said they planned to keep the Q (although tone it down in the laning phase, probably).
I don't, however, know if this has changed.
Sadly, whatever it is will ruin the most powerful of all Bronze Supports.
GP's E provides basically freelo. Kill participation on every kill he's even near, just by pressing E... which is kind of badass and awesome.
I hope they don't make it a damaging ability, to be completely honest, because then supportplank would be utterly useless.
