Question to the Azir mains

Why do you go double ring, nashor, and sorcerer over single ring, morello, and berserker? Are 15 mpen and 20% AS more valuable than 100% base mana regen and 1k gold?

I personally go item 1056 item 3115 item 3006 . Morello is a trash item and you can get more mana regen just by going 2 dorans.

What he said pretty much, only go Morello if your fighting some1 with lifesteal out the ass which is rare as fuck anyways...

Azir goes through alot of mana if he spams w and q for waveclear so he gets 2 dorans like almost any mage. It's just a really cost efficient mana regen item. Nashors Tooth is strictly better than morrelos since in gives the same ap, same cdr, but more attack speed. Morrello is only a good items if you don't run cdr in the runes or are against someone like mundo or vlad where you need the grievous wounds to kill them. Morrello used to be a good item in season 5 because it was so cheap and had a better build path than nashors. Now that stinger has 10 cdr there's almost no reason not to go nashor since its so gold efficient and you can just sit on its components if you need to start building zhonyas or something. ALso mpen is better on azir than attack speed since attack speed only helps his autos while mpen helps everything.

Sorcerer shoes aren't the best though. Once you get item 3135 they are basically worthless, item 3006 are WAY better for the late game.

I've done both builds and they seem to be fairly close in power. The Morellonomicon build is nice because it is much cheaper than Nashor's (600 gold, 2 kills). Mana Regen also does not hurt. Nashor's Tooth however gives a lot of attack speed early, but you have to know how to manage your mana for it to work well.
