I am so goddamn bored of half of my play time being spent in turtle mode

There are a lot of things that I've grown numb to in this goddamn game. But jesus fucking christ, nothing saps my will to play faster than the mid game turtle phase.

Every other fucking game my team loses lane phase and then we all just sit in the base while the other team feasts on the map.

Someone goes out to ward? Fucking dead

Someone pushes a little bit from the base? Fucking dead

Someone tries to defend a T2 tower? Fucking dead

There are no creative or strategic decisions when your team loses the early game. You're forced to just sit in your base killing minions and hoping that an enemy with a big bounty makes a mistake. What a wealth of strategic choices there!

If my team ever makes it back into the game, its purely from the fact that an enemy chimped out while there was a big bounty on his head. So with that situation, our team is literally shut out from the map until the enemy does something completely brainless, and even then, it has to be the enemy with a sizable bounty. There isn't anything fun about that. Wow we got a kill on a guy with an artifically inflated gold reward. What an amazing group of fucking geniuses we must be.

Getting a comeback doesnt depend on how good your team is, it depends on how stupid the enemy team is. Kinda like how it is to play against Yasuo. So now instead of having to play in that scenario at the micro level vs Yasuo style champs, you have to also play it at the macro level with the way gold leads work.

Christ almighty... I wish so badly there was another moba out there worth a shit. Because right now this feels like yet another goddamn comcast monopoly situation in my life.

if you fucked up the early game so bad that you can't contest any objectives or even ward, why on earth should you have more "strategic options" than holding on and hoping the enemy makes a mistake?

I think what often makes situations like this nearly insurmountable is bad ward coverage (often from a total lack of warding, little warding, or poorly chosen ward positions during these critical phases, including around objectives, even when there was opportunity, like say the enemy team backed).

It can truly make the difference between being able to farm lanes/jungle, and not being able to do a damn thing, at least I feel that is the case. If the enemy team is fed enough though.. or even if they just have certain champions like Rengar fed, it can be very oppressive if they spot you (perhaps with deep wards of their own in your territory) and can close the gap.

There's also something to be said for sweeping for wards/everyone laying down Control Wards to make sure they don't see everything you're trying to do, and can easily ambush your team. Also, I'm not immune to falling for relatively obvious baiting by the enemy that results in us getting killed, but all too often my teammates seem to fall for it (chasing after people who have backup on the way, or waiting to ambush you).

also warding isnt easy when vison is constantly nerfed, there are always two enemies with dusk and be near bush is like playing russian rullete especialy with invisible jungler.
