Why Riot might be buffing Yasuo

So I've been seeing a lot of outcry from the community about a broad Twitter post that hinted at Yasuo being buffed in the near future, and, of course, without even seeing what those changes are, the entire Community is in shambles. Although I hate Yasuo as much as most people, and think he rightfully deserves the ~50% banrate he has, that high banrate makes it hard for Riot to get any info on how strong he is, as he sits at a 50% winrate consistently no matter what happens to the state of the game.

Therefore, I think these changes were made by Riot to see if his winrate skyrockets or not and to finally see whether or not he is truly as unstable as everyone says he is. This way, Riot can nerf him appropriately to make him less frustrating, so he will still have a 50% winrate, but people will feel less obligated to ban him every game.

Of course this is just my theory based upon what seems logical to me, and we will not know for sure if what I proposed is true or not until we ACTUALLY see what Riot's buffs are.

Yasuo is getting the most traction but the problem really isn't them buffing yasuo specifically, it is them buffing far too many champions in general. Champions like renekton, kled, and fiora didn't need their buffs in the past 2-3 patches either. Riot needs to focus more on nerfing overpowered champions instead of buffing balanced ones.
