so like (2 or 2 and a half?) weeks ago, i was maintaining about a 60-62% overall WR, while keeping a 65-69% wr on vayne and other adc's i play. as soon as i hit my plat series, the mentality of people on my team changes. i don't just mean bad players, i mean people who pick random champs first time in ranked, people who try to ff or open (if they haven't afk'd already) as soon as enemy team has 2+ kills.

i'd rather be matched with/against people who stay in a champ pool they can play rather than people who pick champs first time in ranked because theyre "op"

even (as of recently) my games have been hard stomp, or just flat out terrible. my last two were probably the worst, i literally gave my all in those games, and i couldn't carry my team.my supports fed in laning phase and one was so toxic i muted every form of communication from them

i'm not saying i'm an amazing player, but i'd really like to play with AND against people who actually belong in the game they're matched in.

It's not that they FORCE it. It's just that the matchmaking is so random this Season (Smurfs vs Unranked players / 1 mio. Mastery points vs First Time) that the games are just uncarriable (especially if you don't play an 1v9 meta champ). And the pure randomness is the reason why you are 50%. Sometimes you have the Smurf and the enemy's the unranked players and sometimes it's the other way. 50/50 in the long term.

i wouldn't trust the mastery points per se. I had a pantheon top with 700k mastery points and lvl 32 go 0/14 before the first tower fell. If the mastery points tell me anything in game, it's the higher the mastery points=more of the "yasuo" mindset. meaning a 700k thresh on the enemy team with be fucking madlife, while the 700k thresh on your team will throw hooks at the imaginary minion

There are players that breeze threw the ranked ladders of lol, over and over. Most games appear to actually be winnable if u play correctly. Not saying I do, but watching some streams you can see it.

You can't enforce the meta game like Riot keeps trying to do. More they are constantly putting out fires every week with changes because one month they want top to be most powerful, next month jungle is op, give another month we want jg with top cs and kill scores for game to be two levels behind. Dumb stuff.
