Rework Morgana to bring out her character archetype and differentiate her from lux?
I could be wrong but lux and Morgana have very similar kits (Nothing special passive {useful nonetheless}, a binding/rooting Q projectile with almost identical designs, A spell that grants a shield although morgs is generally better side from being single target, an AOE spell {morgs is continuous damage and works well with her hour long root}, but completely different ultimates. They aren't exactly identical and thir kits aren't outdated in design or philosophy. Truthfully, Lux does feel like a light mage when playing her and her bright personality helps as well. However, Morgana's description as a fallen angel with a desire to attain the power to defeat her sister who betrayed her is not delivered well by her kit. She's a good champion that has withstood the test of time well and her kit obviously works well! A gameplay rework could really bring out her potential as a Fallen Angel (the concept itself is always cool and interesting) because her kit doesnt really deliver that.
Morgana doesn't really feel like a master of the black arts. Black mages typically rely on debuff spells, deceit, and occasionally the dead. While her useful (but not very interesting or unique {basically nasus passive with spellvamp} passive which actually does delver her theme well as a fallen angel that has has mastered the black arts (vampirism). Her Q actually stacks that she just kind of throws. Her W actually does too with the whole infection bit but is honestly a really uninteresting spell (riot could do what they did with malzahars similar spell and possibly combine it with some new spell. Admittedly her spellshield is very useful and actually does fit her theme as a fallen angel, but not her theme as an black mage with a strong desire for vengeance and power. It helps her function as a support . Sorry im out time xD ill edit this in a bit An example of a champion thats kit really compliments and shows their unique background is Yasuo. Everything about playing him feels like a Swordsman of the wind agilely slicing through his opponents. His ultimate is and knockup reaction complement this as well with how intense, lifesaving, and wind oriented they are. Morg receiving a gameplay rework to compliment their unique backgrounds and character archetype qoul likely be very appreciated by the communtity.
