Give Us A Way To Disable Chat Entirely

Why is there no option to disable chat completely? Aside from at the beginning of every game typing /mute all? There is absolutely nothing worth reading in the chat aside from pings and timestamps, so why has this option not been implemented or even asked about? There's no reason for chat. Criticize someones build? Honor lowered. Criticize someones behavior? Honor lowered. All the chat is useful for unless you're saying nothing more than 4 letters like "glhf" or "gg" is lowering your honor in ways you didn't even know slowed honor progression.

"Criticizing other players isn't okay and can continue to slow your honor and even get you penalized in the future.

Additionally, using chat to try to get other players penalized isn't cool, and its never necessary - all a report does is flag a game for review by the system so 1 report and 9 in a single game have the same effect.~Riot Skiwi [slayer-jinx-unamused]
