Customs Skins Are Slowly Being Removed..?

Can we as a community just ask...Why? I mean, I understand not many people use custom skins. But they're brilliant! It's so much fun running around as a pokemon, or making your own absolutely sick skin and implementing it. So why remove that from the game? Slowly making each champion's file un-moddable? It's not as if custom skins can give any kind of unfair benefit to the person playing, and nobody else is able to see or be affected by them, so this is a change that just doesn't make any sense to me. Why take away the only real freedom we as a player base have in this game who's meta and skin releases you purely control. I can mod ANY pc game with no repercussions, even WOW, Smite, and Dota (To an extent.) So why are you, Riot Games, trying to kill a part of the community who finds fun in being creative while still enjoying the subtlety your game has to offer?

That's all I wanted to point out, for those of you who weren't already aware of it. And I know Riot doesn't care, and won't take the time out of their day to pay attention to a side of the community that isn't buying every skin they put out for a form of 'mindless' customization.
