Why does CertainlyT get special treatment?

CT's champs being allowed to do more shit than the average champion is a thing. Zoe can reactivate her Q while under CC - why can't Vel'Koz? Why is Yasuo allowed what's arguably the most annoying ability in the game, Windwall, negating entire champions with literally 0 skill requirement since he births that thing from his chest? Why can Akali have her own unique "Fuck you" signature move, obscured, which allows her to torment people inside their own turret? This person, whoever he is, is a plague to the game. Everything he produces is so impossibly annoying - in fact the only thing which he has done well, the Warwick rework, he claims he didn't like doing because of all the surveillance he was under. Every single one of his creations does way too much, when a person is so unanimously hated by an entire community as are all his creations, don't you think, Riot, something should be done?

Or maybe, other designers are lazy and that's why their champs are underwhelming and a generic mess. Maybe if every champ had their own identity this would be a better game.

Just an opinion.

What community are you talking about? When will this ridiculous notion finally start to die?

The problem is not CT’s champions alone. The problem is any champion that is overloaded. I love playing as and against Jax because he is simple to understand but can also have a high skill cap. His abilities are easy to understand, they don’t have 15 things in each one, but they have a lot of room for outplay built into them. Then you take a look at someone like new kayle who just gets pretty much everything, she gets aoe ranged true damage autos, a heal, a speed up, and ult that gives her invulnerability that also does a ton of damage and a slow that also does a crap ton of damage.

Let me share a secret

CT is a designer on a champion He designs what the champion should feel like

Now there are artists, programmers, other designers, testers, managers and many other people that work on that champion to make them do what they do a champion usually takes half an year or longer to create Do you think he just shoves his massive 12 incher into everyones throat while designing the champion to make it like it is?? Do you think just because he is the main designer of the champion he makes everything about it including balance? Did you, and now answer truthfully, come from hashinshins stream after you got dumpstered in bronze to just cry about high mechanical champions?

You really need to look more closely at Paddle Star. It's re-directed by a magical ping-pong paddle that manifests for that purpose and then disappears. That's why Zoe can re-cast while Vel'Koz, for example, can't. Vel'Koz is immobilized, so they cannot re-cast. Zoe is immobilized, but the magic paddle is not. Simple as that.

If I'm not mistaken, rumor has it he wanted to add some sort of aoe fear on WW's. Idk if it's in a massive range but if that mechanic made it through, WW would have become a failure.

He doesn't understand that league is a PvP game, and some ideas about certain abilities and mechanic, no matter how cool they look on paper, can prove very toxic for the game.

To top it off, he thinks frustration is a good thing or some shit. I'm not gonna explain everything but ling story short, his mindset and design philosophy is very toxic that a perma ban isn't even enough. Maybe a jail time is what's needed at this point. Check the interview if you want. It's easy to find on YouTube.
