Evelyn Support?

so I got my fiance into this game about a month ago, and she currently mains support. she's working on grinding up to level 30 so she can play ranked with me.. anyway, we were looking through the champions and she's like "ooo eve is so hot I wanna play her" and I'm like "she's jungle not supp" and she's like "bet! I'll take anyone supp!" so I guess she's gonna try it tomorrow haha. anyway, I was thinking about it, and we have damage like Brand, MF, Pyke, etc as supports, so why not Eve? I mean, she might not be top teir, but could she be viable? what builds would you all take for Eve supp? I'm looking for pointers to tell my lady. (please no talking about how bad supp eve would be, just give actual possible item/rune builds. I already know she might not be viable, or let me know how stupid I am, and how she's the new meta, idfk, I'm a low rank n00b) please and thank you! :)

While Evelynn Lv6 stealth is very useful mid-late game. When playing against when she's a JG only vision wards can counter her stealth. Evelynn Will always see the enemy first before the adc or support see Evelynn due to the SNAKE !!.(reference)

So she's a melee champ and you'll never get frostfang gold so you'll want Ancient Coin Then you'll wanna play super passive, 1st back upgrade to nomads medallion and get boots, then you'll start to buy AP items as your gold generation ramps up.

So I'd probably go Domination for electrocute, sudden impact, eyeball collection, and ultimate hunter/ravenous hunter

Secondary sorcery, as coin and it's upgrades give movement speed celerity is a must, and because you're scaling you'll want gathering storm

Core items: Sorc Shoes, Nomads and Luden's Echo

Then buy oblivion orb and rush void staff and play like an assassin

If the enemy team picks a support that just sits in lane and does nothing (I've seen some frostfang enchanter players that sit on 3 frostfang stacks all laning phase, it's not uncommon) then it's probably viable

Or you can go for a really gold inefficient AP Enchanter with and full build this: shurelya's redemption athenes ardent, taking aery and frostfang.

It's okay. Shouldn't play it against a heavy poke bot lane, though.

what builds would you all take for Eve supp?

For starting items, I'd take:

item 3302 item 1006 item 3340

Rush item 3401 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Buy item 3117

Then, you'd want to go into item 3109

Evelynn gets free health regen when she's stealthed, so she can easily put this on her carry and then after she has redirected the damage, she can just heal it back up.

Afterwards, you just build full damage.

Unfortunately, Eve support ain't the greatest, as her potential is chained down to one lane, whereas she shines best in trying to influence the lanes.

The build is based off her roaming nature with mob boots, as well as her assassin-like burst.

For your fiancee to succeed, she needs to play safe up until level 6, as it's unlikely she will help nab a lane kill without jungle assistance. Also, you should be playing a champion with a built in escape, as she won't be able to save you due to Eve's CC taking 2.5seconds to proc.

Post-6, she should be looking into roaming to other lanes to help disrupt the enemy team. Eve's stealth makes her extremely well suited in acting as a secondary jungler to repeatedly harass top or mid lane. As well as causing the enemy bot lane to overcommit when they think you are there alone, when she was hiding in the shadows all along.

Unfortunately, in order to play Eve support, your team has to be on the same page. Picking her into support automatically forces the rest of your 3 team members to play 1 champion that is tanky and can engage, as Eve lost her tankiness with the rework.

item 3301 (upgrade item 3069 ), item 3057 (upgrade to item 3100 as 3rd or 4th item), item 3117 , item 3146 or item 3152 , item 3285 , item 3135 or item 3151 (Luden's and the MPen item might have to switch priority).
