What did Riot expect was going to happen, when they buffed Zeal items, reduced IE cost, and allowed support's to buy combat stats for their ADC's over a couple patches.

Actual ADC main here not happy with the meta either since I play mostly Ashe and she's not very good right now either. They wanted to give ADCs more power earlier to help them participate in games that were ending at 25 minutes. The issue is that they refused to make games longer by doing things like buffing towers, and so now they have to make every champion hit their ceiling sooner. The issue is ADCs have a higher power ceiling than anyone else, so they take over the game much faster. Part of solution is to nerf the gold price on crit items back to what it was, then make games longer so that if you want to end sooner with more early game comps you can but without removing ADCs late game.
