Too many people assume the reason is to carry the game. That is just a side effect of getting fed as Shaco. The real reason is to be able to walk up the enemy and make them appreciate the greatest dance move ever AKA the worm.
JRobin312 votesikr, no one has a dance move like Shaco. Anyone can wave their arms around or shuffle their feet, but Shaco's dance is a feat of strength and agility fewer players would dare to mimic IRL.
JayHog19921 votesOr maybe because he doesn't have many uses in team fights and relies on assasinating solo targets, something that won't happen often if the enemy becomes smart enough to group up. So his fed solo kills is what makes him somewhat viable in game.
Assuming that's how it goes, haven't seen a single Shaco do well in a team fight without needing to get behind the enemy and nearly kill themselves.
