It feels like there's like no way to counter this guy, even with grievous wounds he still heals like a mad man

Hes short ranged with fairly limited burst damage, griev wounds + bodyblocking with frontline generally gives backline enough time to kill him if he just runs at you, and proper warding thwarts flanks.

So in short during laning phase, prepare to be fucked in the ass

Laning phase wise stay around minions, and either dodge his E or walk forward into it if it will hit minions behind you. If he cant hit E he cant do much as long as you dont full tank Q. Generally will be a won trade.

In a 2v2 vs swain lane, first build exec if you can, and stay at range. You can burst him pre 6 if he steps up too far, but in general avoid getting CCd while poking him down. His pre 6 sustain isnt that good, and hes honestly not tanky without items or ult.

As long as you avoid the grab you should be alright, depending on who you play Darius absolutely butchers him lol

item 3194 helps a lot

Just being able to dodge his E will heavily reduce the damage he can do to you and making sure there is always a healthy minion/champion in between you and him will help you a lot.
