This is a fast paced game that requires on the spot communication and still does not have it. Riot even wants this game to be about working as a team and still no effort to develop a voice communication method that this game clearly needs to be a teamwork focused game. A voice chat would even go as far as encouraging teamwork and communication and might even lower toxicity and negativity.
Marthian3 votesThere's a red post somewhere if I recall, and it boiled down to they did studies and it showed that toxicity went UP and it didn't help as much with teamwork (because frustration is easier over mic, and same as other voice call games: People will be harassed more based on how they sound like such as being a girl or very young.) They also pointed out that people that queue with friends already have options to do voice chat outside the game anyways, and it's worked just fine.

Whelp, based on this information I think I will just give up on having a built in voice chat.
